Get your Habit Stacking Goals charged up again!
Did you know that according to research done by Strava most people quit their New Year Resolutions by January 19th & have deemed that day “quitter’s day”??? So if you even have 1 Habit Stacking Goal (see my previous post about this) or 1 Resolution still going strong then you have achieved more than most!!! But what if once again the #dailygrind of life has gotten in the way?? What if your best intentions never transformed into actions??
REMIND, REFOCUS, REARRANGE

REMIND: take a moment TODAY to remind yourself of WHY you wanted to make a change? Write it down some place that you can reference in case you soon again forget about your WHY. For me, I have totally slacked on my #habitstacking goal of stretching after working out. My why—because my body is getting older and when I don’t do a post-workout stretch my body hurts = doesn’t want to workout the next day. Plus, while I stretch I meditate and can ground myself in preparation for the rest of the day

REFOCUS: take time to evaluate what you are making a priority each day and Refocus this list to include your new goal. Again–write it down so you can clearly see where your priorities are. For my stretching goal, I need to place a higher focus only my WHY and make space to accomplish.

REARRANGE: sometimes for a new habit/resolution to work you must Rearrange your day a bit to accommodate the goal. You may need to wake 5 minutes earlier than usually, cut out some social media screen time or figure out to how to multitask. I’m making sure to start my workout earlier each day to insure I have the time to stretch afterwards.
