Yachting through the Bahamas was a dream on the SeaDream (while besides the 15 ft seas that is, still amazed how incredible the staff was even during the craziest of circumstances) ! If you are looking for top notch service, amazing excursions, delicious food and attention to detail look no more!
So grab a cup of coffee and join me as I show you around the SeaDream and all the amenities it has to offer. (how dreamy is this view?!?)
The Yacht
So even though this is “yachting”, this boutique cruise boat still has tons and tons of amenities just like a large cruise — but top notch. This 56 guest room (2 suites, 54 staterooms) boat has a spa — get the deep tissue massage, trust me you will not be disappointed! I’m talking the therapist does stretching with the massage that was amazing!–pool, hot tubs, golf stimulator, restaurants, bars, a black jack table, library filled with books, gym & all types of water sports. One of my favorite amenities they offer is that they will set up a bed for you to sleep outside under the stars! How dreamy!
The Food
Ya’ll know I’m all about great food and the presentation (because who wants to eat food that doesn’t also look pretty???). The chef of the SeaDream knows his food and puts love into every dish. I seriously did not put a single thing into my mouth the entire week that didn’t wow me! I did get to speak to the chef a couple of times and you can tell this chef loves every single thing about his job. Some of my favorites–the filet, lobster over an asparagus reduction, the most amazing caramel cheesecake and mushroom risotto.
The Service
I have thankfully had the ability to travel to so many different places, stay in unique locations, go on cruises so when I say this service was exceptional I mean it! As you walk down the halls you will be greeted with your name, as you sit down for your meal a white linen napkin will be placed on your lap, the bartenders will remember your favorite drinks and they even can do all this in rough seas (which hopefully you will never have). The crew was a complete joy to be around as their pleasant attitudes in all situations were contagious.
The Excursions
On the SeaDream you always will have ton to do especially since they have water sports on board — jet skis, banana boats–but if you want to go explore some of the destinations the excursions planned are dreamy! While we were in the Bahamas we had an amazing lobster lunch on a private island, went swimming with wild pigs, visited iguana island and so much more. The best part of all it is that these excursions are led by the SeaDream’s shoreline crew to make sure you are enjoying the best of the best!
The SeaDream also has Mediterranean along with other Caribbean destinations. I highly suggest looking into this unique and lovely travel experience. To find out more, head over to SeaDream.com.
