Let’s take a moment and talk about real life superheroes — those that truly do help the world not only go around but make it a better place and serve others! Teachers are definitely on this list! I honestly do not know how they do it! They teach our kiddos studies but also important life skills like sharing, listening, having personal discipline, how to show love and kindness even when you don’t want to. I am truly amazed by my girls’ teachers every day! Teacher Appreciation Week is one time a year where we can show them some love.
Our school does this week a bit earlier than others and I came up with a plan to show them love all week long. Here are some ideas to help you show you teachers some love this year. Remember it is not about the size of the gift, how many gifts or how much of something BUT it is truly about the thought.
Monday–Homemade cards from student thanking the teacher
Tuesday–Send in Best Teacher Ever sashes and tiaras for them to wear around campus (sashes & tiaras linked HERE)
**I personalized the sashes with my Cricut. I truly don’t know what I would do without my machine. It really adds such a beautiful personal touch to gifts. Check out my blog post on the ease of using a Cricut HERE
Wednesday–Gift Day! This year I made a basket of goodies for each teacher. It included a candle, travel electronic case holder, roll up open top beach hat & a gift card to a local spa so they can be pampered.
**All supplies/gifts (or similar) are linked HERE
Thursday–Send in a beautiful plant or flowers arrangement.
Friday–Cookie Cake time! This is a fun treat for the whole class at the end of the week!
