This is one of my hubby’s favorite appetizers of all times! This “healthier” version is just 4 ingredients, doesn’t require any frying and includes bacon!
Ingredients:
10 jalapeños, sliced long ways with seeds and ribs removed
1 8oz block of cream cheese
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
5 slices of bacon, cut into strips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
Slice jalapeños in half long ways and clean out all the seeds and white ribs (this helps with making the poppers not too spicy). Give them a good rinse after
Line up the halved jalapeños on a baking sheet.
Brush a little bit of the sweet chili sauce into each jalapeño boat.
Using a small spoon scoop some cream cheese into each half, then top with a slice of bacon
Cook in oven for 25 minutes. Then turn the oven to broil and broil for another 3-5 minutes to crisp up the bacon.
